Bare with this one. It's as slow a build as most of my other work!

The main inspiration behind this piece is probably quite obvious given the chord choices. Hopefully, the emotion that drove the production of it comes through and connects with those of you that listen. I really wanted to create something bittersweet in sound this time, rather than just outright depressing.

This is still a fairly ambient piece, but again, I wanted to implement more of my orchestral influences to create a more emotional piece of music. That's not to say ambient as a genre is not filled to the brim with every emotion under the sun, but you can't beat strings and a piano for the sadder stuff, eh?

I hope those of you that hear this enjoy it. The download is entirely free, though you are welcome to pay if you'd like to. As usual, any money obtained this way will go towards the production of future KON material.
